Your rental includes exclusive access to the venue, ceremony in the Meadow, on the Patio, or Inside, climate-controlled Reception room and Suites, farmhouse tables and wood chairs, set-up and take-down, and in-house Coordinator to help the day run smoothly.
We also provide flexible vendor options, parking support, and thoughtful experienced guidance throughout the planning process to support your dream day!

A: Reserve your wedding date by signing the online contract and completing the first payment of $1000.

After the initial payment to reserve, remaining payments are scheduled at regular intervals, with the final balance due 16 days prior to your first day at Southern Granary.
You’re welcome to pay ahead of schedule or break payments into smaller amounts — as long as the next payment amount due is met by the scheduled date.
We accept online payments by credit card or bank draft, as well as checks and cash.

A: The refundable security deposit of $500 will be returned within 10 days after your event, provided all security deposit conditions have been met.
The security deposit is not a separate payment - it is combined with the overall payment total.

A: Yes! An SG In House Day-of Coordinator and two SG team members are included! Your SG wedding coordinator handles all the day-of details to help ensure your wedding runs smoothly and as stress-free as possible.
The team members drive the golf cart shuttle for Meadow ceremonies, handles facility needs (including trash), dim the lights during dancing, manage the climate control for maximum comfort, and more!

A: There are spacious parking areas, either in the gravel parking area or in the grassy field next to it. Anyone with accessibility issues is welcome to pull up right next to the Patio and use the ramp to easily get inside. And for a Meadow ceremony, the golf cart can drive right up to the aisle for seating.

A: Yes, we permit alcohol to be served & consumed responsibly. We do recommend that that the service of alcohol is included (“Host Liquor Liability”) in a one-day event liability policy. ABC license is required if you will be selling alcohol at your event, i.e. cash bar.

A: We have 200 hardwood padded folding chairs and long handcrafted glossy Farmhouse tables that we set up to your favorite table layout. We also have 200 outdoor chairs for the Ceremony Meadow or Patio. We do all set-up & take-down of all tables and chairs for you!

A: We offer a Favorites Caterer discount when you book one of our trusted partners. These caterers are easy to work with, take wonderful care of couples, and make the day run so much smoother for everyone. The discount is an incentive for going with a team we know will serve you well.

A: Yes! The Southern Guesthouse is our large 100 year old house one block away with a hot tub & fire pit, ping-pong table, and beds for 12+. It has 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and is absolutely gorgeous inside!

A: Southern Granary has a large Bridal Suite for the Bride and Bridesmaids to get ready and the Groom’s Den for the guys — both climate controlled and each with an adjoining restroom.
You can also take advantage of our beautiful new Southern Guesthouse’s “getting ready room” just around the corner with a whole house weekend stay!

A: Our “Kiss & Go” cleaning policy means you just pack up your things & go, no cleaning required!

A: Yes! Sparklers are popular exit choice! We have a metal can that the sparklers must immediately go into afterwards. Ribbon sticks, glowsticks, bubbles are also allowed.

A: Available to you, complimentary, are table number signs, “Mr & Mrs” signs for the head table, ring boxes, cake & cupcake stands, canned beverage chilling trays, and more!
Pets allowed with prior approval. We’ve had several furry friends participate in the ceremony!
The train does not have a set schedule – it runs as needed 24/7 — as with any railroad track, use caution when crossing. If you’re lucky, you can get a photo with a passing train in the background.
